My life at home

Outside of work, I have many (probably too many) hobbies and interests. This page teaches you a little about me outside of the workplace.

This list, though far from exhaustive, gives you a snapshot of my long-standing interests and hobbies.

I am a music enthusiast (nerd)

I play guitar, bass, and drums but I don’t have to play an instrument to enjoy music. Simply listening to music or discussing bands, takes me to my happy place.

Speaking of happy place, the hero image at the top of this page is my office and also my jam room where me and my friends and family play music together.

I love technology

I have always been into the latest and greatest tech. I constantly try new apps to understand what’s out there and often dabble with code to explore ideas.

I am a lifelong learner

I am constantly learning new things ranging from new technology, history, practical skills, and more. Lately, I have been taking Master Classes.

I love movies and books

I love getting lost in a book (usually business books, science fiction, or horror) but I also love watching movies. Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve are by far my favorite directors.

I am a gamer

I love being immersed in the stories of video games. Some of my favorites are Fallout: New Vegas, Skyrim, Ghost of Tsushima, and the Bioshock series

I am a builder

I am always finding projects around the house that allow me to build something and I actively seek opportunities to build new, tangible things. For example, I recently took a knife making class and have a newfound respect for blacksmithing in the process

I LOVE to travel the world with my wife

I also LOVE my dog, Luna

Luna is basically me and Megan’s child. She’s 5-years-old and 90 lbs of pure puppy destruction. She very possibly could be the most spoiled Labrador Retriever ever
